I was also running Zend Studio, but I gave up for the same reasons.
At the moment, I'm using PHPEdit. Even if not perfect, it's imho the best IDE
around, with original ideas and many many powerful features.
If you try it, don't get the stable version, it's old as hell. Get the Devel
version.
BTW, it's a freeware.
