I'm using Maguma studio, which is for Windows. The Lite edition is freeware, but they also have a full development environment for PHP, including built-in support for DBG so you can do benchmark testing of PHP scripts. You can download the IDE with the PHP help files and it is compatible with the 4.2.3 release. http://www.maguma.com The complete desktop and enterprise editions include builtin CVS support, which is kind of handy. I've been using the product since it's early 0.9.0 release, now on version 1.0.5. It's pretty stable. One neat thing is that it automatically parses PHPDoc style comments and provides function "note" references when you put your mouse over function and method blocks.
