I have also this Problem under Apache/1.3.12 (Win32) PHP/4.2.3 (Modul),
WinXP.
Problems with other modules in this environment i have reported here:
http://news.php.net/article.php?group=php.pear.general&article=2899
An other User reported, that it works fine with PHP 4.2.3 under IIS as CGI.
