Chuck:
Here in this mail you have a little patch and an update to your Net_SMTP
class.
the patch is a small one it changes the character "2" by "1" in the
line
$arguments = substr($extensions[$i], strlen($verb) + 1,
strlen($extensions[$i]) - strlen($verb) - 2);
in the function identifySender() (with "2" the function doesn't return
the last character of the lines)
The update is to allow to use the method LOGIN and PLAIN
and the skeleton to add others auth methods (CRAM-MD5 and DIGEST-MD5)
If yo accept this, I'll compile the Cram and digest support in my
Postfix and I include the support to the allowed methods.
I dont know if i must send this patch to you or to the pear's lists.
Please let me know how to handle this. Should I send this patch to you
or to the list?
Bye.
