I am the developer of what will probably be called Net_Yapircl.
It would be logical to discuss these things in the #pear irc channel on EfNet
sometime. my nick is "gtk". Even if there might not be any merge etc im sure
all projects could benefit from this.
As a side note I got dcc chat accept working last night (the easiest of the
dcc stuff by far I would guess).
But im going to ditch this in favour of a big rewrite where each irc
connection and dcc connection is a separate object with state information. A
master object would then handle selecting() on these. I have not done
anything like this before so this will most certainly be hard. The learning
experince will most certainly be great though. My main concerns are how the
API will be, the interaction with the the timer system and how this could be
done in a clean way. If it is even possible :)
