Weekly News proposal

We had a short discussion about this on irc, but thought i'd drop a line on pear-dev too. Since weekly news is no more like bi-monthly-news because Alan has been extremely busy I though about solution. Weekly news is basically 3 different parts. 1) pear-dev traffic 2) cvs activity 3) releases IMO the workload could be divided so different people take care about different parts. If no-one objects I will volunteer for takin care about atleast 2 and 3 starting tomorrow. Maybe parts of 1 but can't make any promises. It would be great if someone else (perhaps Alan will have some time again?) will volunteer too. I feel that weekly news is a great resource. It's a nice roundup about what has happened.
