I like to make 3 things:
* provide a low level api (Net_IMAPProtocol)
* provide a high level api (Net_IMAP) (now this is empty but I'm
planning the api now)
* provide a complete implementation of php's imap functions and
constants for those who does'nt have the imap library compiled in php.
For example, if I hav'nt imap support in my machine,
I can make an include("imapsupport.php"); and the rest of the code
should work as I have imap support compiled-in. I think that it sould be
good for a project like IMP (www.horde.org). Of course that this
implementation is NOT PEAR-compatible but the framework yes.
