xsd2db

Hi, I did a proof of concept converting a XML schema definition to MySQL CREATE TABLE statements with XSLT. http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/zzoss/zzoss/utils/xsd2db/ Of course, the current implementation does not handle all aspects of MySQL table definitions. The purpose is to have several xsd2db stylesheets for various RDBMS, and LDAP. This would need some extra schema being introduced like for DB2: http://www7b.software.ibm.com/dmdd/library/techarticle/0209lima/0209lima.html Also, how to best handle nested elements of a XSD in a RDBMS is yet an open question to me. I sent this to pear-dev, because maybe this is of interest to PEAR::MDB? Does anyone know of similar XSLT stylesheets serving the same purpose? Sandro
