Alexey used the word "cache" and it threw up red flags for some and that were never clarified if you didn't take a few minutes to look at the source. In light of this apparent miscommunication, I think it would be best to ask Pierre if he has any objection to "pre-compiled templates" (off by default) in HTML_Template_IT before committing a new package.Unfortunately 1) There were 1,5 months available to actually *look* at my code. It's not that difficult, *especially* if you maintain the package in question; 2) I spent a lot of time to communicate this idea to Lukas Smith while he was trying to mediate between Pierre and me. Somehow I don't feel like repeating. Sorry.
