Hi, The sortable table works in any browser supporting DOM Level 2 (Core, HTML and Events parts needed). There are some minor workarounds to get it to work in IE5.01+ (because it does not support the DOM Level 2 Events). I have personally tested the script in IE5+, Mozilla 1+, Opera 7. It is really sad to hear that this isn't working in KHTML (Safari). This should be reported to the KHTML team (or the Safari team) right away because KHTML is supposed to support DOM. I'll see if I can get a hand on a Unix box to test this. erik Bertrand Mansion wrote:

Hi, My proposal for a new package is a class to build sortable tables. The class would extend HTML_Table and its name would be HTML_Table_Sortable. For the DHTML-capable clients it would use http://webfx.eae.net/dhtml/sortabletable/sortabletable.html as the frontend en for the other clients it will be sortable thru clicking on the head en refreshing the page. There would be 4 built in supported sort types to start with: - String - Case insensitive string - Number - Date I've send an e-mail to the authors of webfx for approval. That's it... Hope you guys like it :-)
Hi Richard, The sortable table does not work with IE5 and Safari on Mac OSX. It works fine with Camino and probably works with Phoenix too. I didn't test on other platforms. Bertrand Mansion Mamasam
