No, I think we should not allow (and i think it was even agreed upon)
GPL'ed code in PEAR. The main reason being that we still don't have an
official reply as to the question as to if the GPL extends itself
automatically onto PHP code that uses GPL'ed code.
PEAR is supposed to be code readibly available to people using PHP. If
we allow code in PEAR that prevents people from this we start to have
huge problems (licensing issues, code reuseability etc.).
As such I am pretty sure we only want PHP, BSD, LGPL (while still being
more strict that the other licenses listed it is still reasonably
compatible) or similar licensed code.
