But until today i haven't received any mail about this package. I might be possible that i removed it as spam (since i'm on the php lists, i receive over 300 spam emails per day!).. A already send a email to Stefan Walk. He emailed me 15 minutes before sending this message to the list. And i don't like the fact that i didn't had time to response on his mail he send me 15 minutes before he send this email! Maybe my collegues are right and is open-source not that great! Don't expect more classes from me. I've had it! About the bug. It's seems that i forgot to update the PEAR version. The bug is solved on 16 january 2003 and was issued by Rick Kroon. BTW, the bug isn't reported using bugs.php.net. The class (even now) is working fine. It's only taking a bit longer before it's finished. There might be some parts of the code that do not follow the PEAR CS because these are also other standards which are followed. If this is a problem, i will remove the class from the PEAR repositoty. It's put on pear because i won't to contribute something to PHP, because it helped me so much. With best regards, Dave Mertens Arnaud. > Hi! > > Some time ago (at least a month), i mailed the maintainer of > Math_BaseX > (zyprexia@php.net) about making some changes in Math_BaseX. > Until today, > i haven't recieved an answer. > It is somehow limited now (doesn't use bcmath, gmp or alike), it has > errors ($this->length instead of $this->_length, declaring a package > with errors like this stable doesn't reflect good on pear), > it doesn't > follow the coding standards everywhere. > > What to do now?
