This is implemented in Date_Span in CVS. You can make a:
$diff =& new Date_Span($date1, $date2);
echo $diff->toSeconds();
> $Date2 = Date::Add($Date1, $timeUnit, $timeUnitType='s');
This too:
$date =& new Date();
$date->addSpan(new Date_Span($seconds));
