Well there are several methods that serve this purpose like
listDatabases, listSequences, listIndexes etc. However they are by no
means complete yet.
Regarding XML:
The Manager is responsible for this and currently its a bit nasty due
to endlessly long method that make the manager hard to maintain and very
inflexible. Also XML based handling is very fixed on the MDB datatypes
and is therefore too limited for people not using the MDB schema format.
But that is the main area which I am addressing this coming month. This
work is mainly motivated by porting DataObject to MDB.
