A long time ago, I added tableinfo support for the Oracle wrapper in DB. I
suggest you start by defining tableinfo structure so that it looks the same
for every databases. Start by looking at how it is implemented in Oracle
wrapper, then in MySQL wrapper. Compare them, you will notice many
differences.
When the structure is ready, I suggest you post it to the list so we can all
have a look and help.
