It is possible through variable tags. However I am not sure if the
following works:
<name>
<variable>prefix</variable>_foobar
</name>
As you may know I am working on MDB 2.0 which will make it possible to
simply tell the Manager to use a different parser. However I do see that
this would be a useful feature, so if the above is not possible we
should certainly make it possible.
I will take a look at your patch as soon as I have time (I am quite busy
over this weekend).
