ah just a little mistake on your part.
MDB picks up the fact that you have defined a sequence on a table that
hasn't been defined, since you forgot to add the prefix to the on tag as
well:
<sequence>
<name>users_sequence</name>
<start>1</start>
<on>
<field>user_id</field>
<table><variable>prefix</variable>users</table>
</on>
</sequence>
Then things should work.
So is that a good enough solution for you?
Anyways I would really like to thank you for the very clean work you
did; makes evaluation a breeze. I hope to hear more suggestions like
that from you (or any other user for that matter).

Well this will be sort of tricky.
The differences there might be very hard to abstract. I hope that in the
future more drivers will become capable of listing and creating users.
However when it comes to managing users rights I think that is still
fairly far off. But as always this could be done by someone else.
However I would be hesitant to quickly integrate a MySQL specific
solution, as this might make things difficult further down the roadin
terms of API breakage. However it might be worthwhile to develop a MySQL
specific solution as a separate class which uses MDB.
