When I'd strongly vote against Net_ChatClient because this might lead
to confusion with Net_IRC or similar. Net_IM "might" be okay - but
maybe we should think of a somehow open structure?
Would it be possible to build a Net_IM-package and also integrate
functionality to send to Jabber-servers etc.? Since the Jabber-
protocol is open an XML this shouldn't be of any problem. I just mean
... like the Validate-class (Pierre knows what I mean :-)) -
somethink like a package for multiple Instant Messenger-protocols.
If you need ideas / help maybe have a look at the sources of Miranda-
IM (http://www.miranda-im.org/) since they have interfaces for some
interesting widespread messenger-procotols - with full source I
believe.
