Hi Jesus and others,
the question is, will a complete new package-class will make sense? I
don't know, how the policy is on that issue, but I for myself can say,
that I really don't care, how the class is called in the end, that's for
the policy guxs of PEAR...
In the meantime I'm almost done with METAR, the Weather-framework is
already working with WeatherDotCom.php. It is now possible to enter
geographical coordinates and get the nearest available METAR-station for
current conditions. I'm using a SQLite-database for that task, that was
created out of a file, that is available for download on the net.
My question is, if it is feasible to include these databases (in fact
two of them) for a total count of 1552kB, or if I just should say, when
you want to use this function, go ahead download that file and run it
through the db-builder I provide with the package. I like the out-of-the
-box version better, but that would result in a significant larger file.
Would be great, if you guys could give me some ideas here...
Regards,
Alexander
