4) Is someone working on a PEAR wrapper for iptables/ipfilter with database access logging.
Hello Ryan, I use http://www.fwbuilder.com which is a great product. It enables me to firewall all computers on my network and apply rules transparently. fwBuilder has a separate rule compiler and interface. The rule compiler is designed for several environments (IPTABLES and IPFILTER in the first place). fwbuilder main features are presently being moved into a C++ library. Why not integrate the library in PHP? Then it would become more easy to build: - a PEAR administration layer, - a PEAR rule wrapper to fwbuilder rule builder. Best regards, Jean-Michel POURE, Paris, France
