Oh, I didn't take it personally and it wasn't intended personally either. I
rather replied to the whole thread and you happened to be the last one at
the time I wrote it. ;-)
Anyway, now that I've seen the "fix" that was necessary, I think you all
were probably kidding. Using a method that is only implemented in one
single driver (though it probably shouldn't have been marked as public
then) and then complaining about API breakage when this method gets
removed, sounds like a joke to me.
