Hi,
I've been experimenting with the PEAR implementation of XML-RPC as the
built-in PHP implementation worries me in that the documentation states that
it's experimental and may change in future, and I used the implementation
it's based on before without problems.
However, in the PEAR version, the server insists on returning additional
debug information as a comment before the document element, which is useful
when debugging, but not useful at any other time.
It seems to be that there should be a way of switching this off or perhaps
it should even be switched off by default and switched on as follows, e.g.
$server = new XML_RPC_Server ($methodMap, 0) ;
$server->setDebug (TRUE) ;
$server->service() ;
This way, it'd work in a similar way to the client. I'm thinking of
changing it this way myself and I'd be happy to send a diff through with the
changes. What do others think?
Best,
Mark
