Just to bring up the topic again: How do we mark packages as being
working with php4 *and* 5 or just php4 / 5? Using deps seems to be
the most complicated way in my eyes - correct me if I'm wrong. It
would take until every packages has had a re-release that we can be
sure e.g. a package may not be installed together with php5. So maybe
should the installer, for now, default for every package being for
php4-only unless otherwise marked in the package.xml? And how should
a concrete package.xml-entry look like for php4- and/or php5-
compatible?

Stefan
