I just thought that there might be volunteers that will try out
several packages with php 4.x and 5.0 in the following weeks. However
if a packages does not run smoothly with php 5 it might be useful to
mark it php4-only until the issues have been fixed. For that a new
minor-release for that package would be needed to be able to have an
updated package.xml. So I suggested we might find another way ...
