mkdir /var/www/php4/pear/Archive/ cp <php_cvs_dir>/pear/Archive/Tar.php /var/www/php4/pear/Archive/Tar.php If you want to install the XML_Tree package, for the moment you can do it simply with: cp -a <php_cvs_dir>/pear/XML_Tree/* /var/www/php4/pear/XML/
Sorry to insist, but this means "merging directories by hand". My needs are to : 1) access PEAR latest code through cvs (with cron jobs run everyday), 2) create new packages and patch existing packages (to send them to the list). How will it be possible if my directories are merged and PEAR cvs directories are not??? Does anyone update PEAR from CVS? Is it workable? I am new to PEAR, could you advise me? Any help welcome.
