Weird! I'm currently experiencing the same problem with
Mozilla 1.6, without sessions und just http. But that seems
to be a problem of Mozilla 1.6, because other browsers
work fine.
Here's my error message, for what it's worth:
$TMPFILE could not be saved because the source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator.
Sent HTTP headers indicate that the client should cache the file,
and above error message makes me think that Mozilla deletes the
cached file although he wants to access it afterwards.
