You rock! One last thing would make this complete, please. A test case.
Is there a simple set of queries that can create a deadlock in a
reproducible way? See http://cvs.php.net/co.php/pear/DB/tests/errors.inc
for what I mean. A test case will not only ensure everything works
correctly, it will help me uncover the error code produced in the
remaining DBMS's.
