Dear all,
I sent this mail to the ModelX team (translation):
********************************************************************
1) I will be available during two months in December and January to develop an application generator comparable to PhpLens and OracleWebPortal, available free under an Open-Source license.
2) The application generator will be XML aware and will generate static/dynamic pages with cache management.
3) If possible, I would like to build abstract pages (without the need of templates), using pure object builders (declaration of panes available in the page, file/xml/sql data source, user access management, etc...). Abstract pages will be stored in an SQL database and will be able to incorporate XML templates.
4) It is intended to be a team-work, probably inside of PEAR community.
What do you think about this project? Do you think it would be possible to integrate ModelX ? We welcome your feedback at pear-dev@lists.php.net.
Best regards,
Jean-Michel POURE
