This mechanism should be implemented for *all* mailing lists that are
located on lists.php.net. pear-webmaster@lists.php.net gets spammed,
because the address pear-webmaster@php.net is an alias for it and
@php.net domains are not using the whitelist mechanism.

Then Thunderbird's junk filter should probably be considered bogus.
I think we should stop this discussion here, since spam avoidance is
no the topic of the developers list. If you would like to discuss this
problem further, let us do so in private mail.
