Greg Beaver (http://pear.php.net/user/cellog) has commented on the proposal for XML::XML_RPC_Simple.
Comment:
You should list the PHP 4.3.2 dependency in this proposal.
Also, your tarball was not packaged using "pear package" and so is not installable using
"pear install," but the error message from "pear install" is not very helpful,
you should repackage ASAP.
Please also provide online .phps for viewing, or nobody will look at your proposal except me :)
I dislike requiring functions - this should be OO to allow namespacing, even if all the methods are
static.
Lastly, this should support PHP 5 in __call(), since that is trivial.
All criticism aside, this is a nice idea. I wonder if it couldn't be placed into XML_RPC
package, instead of separate?
