Greg Beaver (http://pear.php.net/user/cellog) has commented on the proposal for XML::XML_RPC_Simple. Comment: You should list the PHP 4.3.2 dependency in this proposal. ok, i will use the PHP_CompatInfo package for that.
Also, your tarball was not packaged using "pear package" and so is not installable using "pear install," but the error message from "pear install" is not very helpful, you should repackage ASAP. ok, i will repackage it today
sorry for that ..
Please also provide online .phps for viewing, or nobody will look at your proposal except me :) I have put .phps for all files
I dislike requiring functions - this should be OO to allow namespacing, even if all the methods are static. I don't understand, can you explain me with an example please ? (my english is not very good..)
Lastly, this should support PHP 5 in __call(), since that is trivial. Ok, i will install a PHP5 version for check this.
All criticism aside, this is a nice idea. I wonder if it couldn't be placed into XML_RPC package, instead of separate? as discussed with Martin Jansen, this package should be merged with XML-RPC package when the stable version will be ready.
Thanks
