Do you have some concrete benchmark results to back this up?
well all benchmarks are lies .. anyways take a look here: http://phplens.com/lens/adodb/ My internal benchmarks show that MDB2 is even faster than MDB, especially when disabling the portability option and using unbuffered queries.
