Yeah, I know that. What I wanted to say is that users, who do not like
passing null values to queryRow() just to set a fetch mode, can always
set the fetch mode globally. This way they can use
$mdb2->queryRow($query);
instead of
$mdb2->queryRow($query, null, MDB_FETCHMODE_FOO);
because the fetch mode is already defined.
