Alan Knowles (http://pear.php.net/user/alan_k) has commented on the proposal for HTML::HTML_Element.
Comment:
I'm not too keen on this taking the HTML_Element namespace
- I did have some long term plan to propose this as HTML_Element (or for somebody else to
volunteer)
http://pear.php.net/manual/en/package.html.html-template-flexy.element.html-template-flexy-element.php
On the principle that the HTML_Common tree focuses on a private properties with setters approach to
modelling, html elements, whereas H_T_F_Element focuses on a public accessor model.
adding this as HTML_Common_Object which just extended HTML common, seems like a reasonable scope for
the package.. - I dont know who is maintaining HTML_Common, but adding factory into that may be a
good way to build on that model.
