Well I will see if I have time to checkout your work. However I dont quite see how your MVC can be build without expecting a particular interface and logic inside the packages which may be used along with it. Otherwise it would just be a very abstract implementation which doesnt offer much then any article on MVC in PHP would also provide.
Not necessarily true. Like I said, more layers can be added. For example adding an optional template factory that supports any of the PEAR-based template libraries is on my to-do list. The Perisistence Manager is a key component that should not be overlooked either as it can nearly eliminate the need for a developer to write any SQL in the business logic. Again, I'm not against adding more power to my implementation out-of-the-box along with some simple standards...my only point is I don't want to over complicate it...a balancing act I'm sure you can appreciate.
What were your thoughts on creating a PHP Application Library that was suggested by Philippe?
Thanks for having a look at it and, again, I encourage others to look into it.
