Okay,
The latest snapshot has a working go-pear.bat which fixes everything up
nicely.
I downloaded run-tests.php.txt (Greg had a link somewhere) and plopped it in
my PEAR directory. I understand this will be done automatically from now on?
If so, better get it ready for the PHP5 release bundle no?
After everything is set up, to run tests I do:
pear run-tests E:\php\pear\tests\<package>\tests
Now, that's a lot of typing, I propose we change the behaviour to:
pear run-tests <package>
This could be done as a default option, if they specify a path then the
installer could take that into account.
If you want to run test files, use run-tests.php, I don't see any point in
simply wrapping run-tests with the pear installer. It should be used to test
pear packages by default.
Opinions most welcome.
