With that I mean (perhaps wishes):
- Ability to split the common fields of a query (for ex: the
selected columns, the tables in the FROM, the WHERE part, ORDER BY,..)
- Ability to construct a query with certaing given params
- Ability to alter certain parts of a SQL statement (for ex: replace
the ORDER BY clausule with that, the selected fields by a COUNT, etc)
- ...
This could help a lot in:
- Emulating certain features not natively supported
- Automatize the creation of SQL statements
- The creation of software to admin databases like:
"PhpMyAdmin", PHP GTK/console interfaces, etc.
- ...
