The one useful commonality I could see between Net_Monitor and System_Monitor would be the alerting mechanisms. However, given that the project only currently encompasses SMTP and SMS, I don't think spawning off a Network_Alert package to service Net_Monitor and System_Monitor with a common API is really justified (yet).Hello, Such kind of service are sure power (then danger) As more alarm from the net, it should feasable to be informed of some location (document) just been updated. e.g. as I'm bloody, I often check few sites documents, just to see if something has changed. Beautiful Network::Monitor could store it for me (or only the date) and check from time to time if it changed. Case yes alarm. For systems infos, up to the guy to let some page linked to that (if not afraid) and then check that this document is not changed. "Changed" can mean just one byte or some interpreted stuff within doc... Hmmm... could grow wild and wide, certainly it exists allready such product somewhere. Regards, bertrand Gugger (toggg)
