- Some packages don't have any code released, not even in CVS.PEAR does not require people to use PEAR CVS. Actually we currently dont require the author to use a public or non public version management. There was been debates about making the requirements more strict in this regard. And another point. We still have a lot of chaotic stuff in our attic that needs to be fixed. Opening a bug report on your findings will help us clean things up. We always try to strike a balance between the needs of the developers, the other developers and the endusers.
