from http://us2.php.net/include/ If "URL fopen wrappers <http://us2.php.net/manual/en/ref.filesystem.php#ini.allow-url-fopen>" are enabled in PHP (which they are in the default configuration), you can specify the file to be included using a URL (via HTTP or other supported wrapper so, you can do set_include_path('.;phar://blah.phar');That may be probematic on unix the ':' would be treated as the path seperator..
