Mike Last I heard, Toby had been wanting to take up maintanance, ut he's been notoriously quiet about it :) I'd see no problem with it, but I do have a equest if I could have a look at the bugfixes before they're released, as my own package (File_DNS) depends upon it :)

Toby doesn't have much time for it last time I knew :( Cipri well Mike can't do any BC things because it's already stable :-) On a side note, I want to split File_CSV from File (I've been told that Tomas wanted to do the same thing), and to keep BC I'd make File_CSV depend on File (well it does anyway :)) and File depend on File_CSV, that way File_CSV gets it's own release cycle and can have a new major version with out any troubles because of File :-)

This kind of circular dependency will cause all versions of the installer to fail except for 1.4.0. There's no way to keep BC until PEAR 1.4.0 comes out, sorry :( Greg
