Justin Patrin (http://pear.php.net/user/justinpatrin) has commented on the proposal for
HTML::HTML_FormPersister.
Comment:
First of all <% and %> are ASP tags. Please use <?php and ?>. Second, the
HTML_QuickForm package already does the same kind of thing, albeit via
creating an object for your form and elements.
I can see this being possibly useful, but only for quick and dirty
scripts. I honestly wouldn't trust a simple HTML parser and and rewriter
to get everything right. I'd much rather HTML_QuickForm with the
additional functionality it gives and the more correct way of handling
this. i.e. before the HTML is created.
