I'm not so sure on the naming your classes don't look much like php streams (http://us2.php.net/manual/en/ref.stream.php). Though maybe they can be used that way and there just isn't any examples of it. -joshHi, The name for the pOOcl library (http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-proposal-show.php?id=201, http://poocl.la-grotte.org) is not very self explanatory. I have been looking for a new name and discussed about it on the IRC. File_Compression has been proposed. I would be in favour of a name with Stream in it (because I think that poocl is more than a compression library now). pOOcl does also a lot of different things, as allowing to send mails with attached files. It has been proposed to divide pOOcl in different libraries (and I actually like the idea). It could be Stream, Stream_Tar, Stream_Zip, Stream_GZ, Stream_Mail...A big +1 for splitting this into multiple packages. -ryan -- http://theryanking.com/blog
