So, you can do $source = new pooclDirectoryReader('', 0); //current directory, no recursion $source->extract(new pooclMailWriter($to, $title, $subject)); //send the whole directory attached by mail The idea is that, once you have built your source, you build your destination (a writer) that can be files (pooclFileWriter), compression (pooclTARWriter, pooclGZWriter, pooclZIPWriter) or mail (pooclMailWriter) or a combination of that. For example, on last example, you can send a tar archive of the current directory by mail, just changing a few lines $source = new pooclDirectoryReader('', 0); //current directory, no recursion $source->extract(new pooclTARWriter( new pooclMailWriter($to, $title, $subject), 'currentDir.tar') ); Since a mail writer/sender architecture already exists in the PEAR package, I will probably have to rewrite the mail writer. But a wrapper will have to exist (if we want this feature) since the mail writer must be a pOOcl writer. -- Vincent
