As promised, I tried your test from http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-proposal-show.php?id=208
And you are a lucky guy, this PHP 4.2.2 slight difference in unpack() does not affect your Blowfish.
unpack("N2",.. // works as Ants meant 4.2.2 or upper
but
unpack("N",... // without optional repeater makes a difference
You allways have repeater :) 2 in SoufflePoisson
