'lo,
I am in the process of revamping the PEAR installation in Gentoo Linux.
One of the things that I have to do (for FHS compliance, amongst other
issues) is to change the PEAR directory from /usr/lib/php to
/usr/share/php.
I have almost completed the work for this but
pear config-set xxx yyy system
seems to have no effect. The value set does not show up in
pear config-show
Am I misunderstanding the intention of the system layer? I need to
change the default configuration of PEAR that is used by all users who
call the pear CLI frontend without a personal .pearrc file.
I am experiencing this issue with PEAR 1.3.5.
Thanks in advance,
Sebastian
