Tobias Schlitt (http://pear.php.net/user/toby) has commented on the proposal for RFC::RFC::PackageAccess. Comment: I don't know, if a PEAR RFC is the correct place to propose this. Infact it's very popular in OO to have package level access restrictions (even if not supported by soem languages). So since PEAR is OO, this should be presumed. IMHO phpDocumentor should just add the neccessary access level to it's syntax and everything is fine.
