So there isn't a standard license?
How are differences in licensing of packages that make use of other
packages documented?
That is how do I know that a package does not contain parts that are
under a different (more restrictive) license? Is there a requirement to
document this?
Also are licenses at all considered (especially when it comes to
duplicate packages) when being included in PEAR?
I guess flexibility is good and it comes with the same trade offs as
strict vs. loose coding standard. But its important to make this as
transparent as possible.
