OK, so you're doing a REST interface. What I'm proposing is a file manipulation class - not a REST, SOAP or XML-RPC interface for editing karma files. I'm proposing a low level class to manipulate karma files that would, most likely, be used by the interface you describe.

It works fine with the current avail file on cvs.php.net. With this, someone could automate the whole karma thing I would think. If not, then enlighten me and add comments as to how the package could be extended to totally automate this karma stuff. We are currently collaborating with the PHP Group to come up with a web based interface to manage CVS karma. Right now we (basically it's only me at the moment) are planning a slightly different concept (DB-backed web interface with REST-like synchronization to the CVS box), but feel free to propose your code anyway. ;-) - Martin
