Adding an explanation of BOINC to the proposal might be a wise idea. And I'm wondering why you are not using XML_Parser (or even simplexml from PHP 5) in the package. There is really nothing wrong with developing PHP 5-only packages these days.Excuse the comment flood, but there was a bug in PEPr (triggered by recent commits) that caused these mails to be sent withouth storing the comments in the database.
